Dr. YiChen (Jenn) Wei is an expert in both non-surgical and surgical root canal treatment, diagnosing cracked teeth, treating tooth pain, and managing traumatic injuries to teeth.
She uses the latest technology, including operating microscopes, digital imaging, ultrasonic instrumentation, and fiber optics to provide optimal endodontic care for her patients at My Dentist.
Dr. Wei earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside, and her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After completing her DMD, she completed a general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Long Island, New York.
Following four years working in private practice as a general dentist, Dr. Wei realized her passion for saving teeth and returned to Tufts University to pursue a specialty degree in endodontics. Outside of private practice, Dr. Wei is a clinical instructor at Tufts, teaching both undergraduate dental students and postgraduate endodontic residents.
Dr. Wei is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Association of Endodontics, and the American Dental Association. She is also board eligible for the American Board of Endodontics
In her spare time, Dr. Wei enjoys trying new recipes, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
